Stockholm to Umeå with minimal packing and tent

To start with, better late than never writing this post. My life has been upside down since I came home this summer, and my motivation has been low as well. But it is turning now; I'm getting my training back into routine, and life is starting to look better.

Before I set out to ride this gravel trip, I was afraid I would hate living in a tent. I must have camped at most two times in my life before, and all I could remember was how uncomfortable it was and how many bugs and mosquitoes were everywhere.

But I did my research into what type of sleeping pad and tent I should get and chose the “TRINORDIC Ultralight Inflatable Sleeping Pad with Integrated Cushion.” It is only 5 cm thick but extremely comfortable, and I could sleep on my side. It took me about 1 minute to inflate and was super easy to store again. So that was a killer choice!

The tent I decided on was the “Naturehike New Cloud-up Ultralight 1 Person Tent.” It is lightweight and very easy to set up and take down. It has a good inner tent that protected me from bugs. I was very happy with it all the way. I had no problem with getting wet, even though I had some nights with lots of rain. The tent dried up fast in the wind.

I was thinking of writing a long blog post about the ride, but instead, this time I will just show you lots of pictures that describe the ride much better! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions 😊
